Overview
This Cookie Policy explains how FlashProxy B.V. ("FlashProxy", "we", "us", or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies when you visit our website at flashproxy.com. We keep this list complete and current: every cookie and browser-storage key we set is described below, together with what it is for, how long it lasts, and whether it needs your consent.
What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device (computer, tablet, or mobile phone) when you visit a website. Cookies can be "persistent" (they remain on your device until deleted or expired) or "session" cookies (they are deleted when you close your browser). Browsers also offer other storage (local storage, IndexedDB, Cache Storage) that works in a similar way; we list our use of those too.

Security and Fraud Prevention
Our session cookie and its backup copies exist to keep your account secure and to prevent payment fraud, in particular the use of stolen payment cards across multiple accounts. While you browse, our site also collects technical characteristics of your browser and connection (such as screen, graphics and audio capabilities, installed fonts, time zone, language, network provider, and connection type) and sends them to us in encrypted form. We use them, together with payment and account identifiers, to recognise when different accounts are being operated from the same device or network. Details of this processing, its legal basis, and how long we keep the data are in Section 2, 3, 4 and 7 of our Privacy Policy.
These security cookies fall under the "strictly necessary" exemption in Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive and do not require consent. Suspected fraud is reviewed by a member of our staff; the only automated safeguard is described in Section 3.2 of the Privacy Policy (card payments may be restricted on accounts directly connected to a payment that has actually been charged back, pending that review).
Analytics and the Cookie Banner
Separately from security, we measure how our public pages are used: which pages are viewed, how far they are scrolled, which buttons are clicked, how long pages are read, and which campaign or referral link brought a visitor to us. This helps us improve the site and understand our marketing.
If you visit from the European Union, the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, this analytics collection needs your consent. You will see a cookie banner on your first visit; choosing "Essential only" keeps the security cookies and turns the analytics collection off for your browser. Visitors from other regions are not shown the banner, and the analytics collection runs by default; you can still opt out (see Managing Cookies below).
Third-Party Cookies
The following third-party services may set cookies while you use our website:
- Google Ads and Google Analytics (Google Ireland Ltd.): conversion measurement for our advertising campaigns and aggregate site analytics. Google may set cookies such as
_gaand_gcl_au, subject to Google's cookie policy. - Crisp (Crisp IM SAS): the live-chat widget stores an identifier so your support conversation continues across pages.
- Paddle, our Merchant of Record, sets cookies during checkout for payment processing and fraud screening, and ComplyCube does so on its own hosted page when identity verification is required.
We do not use cookies for cross-site behavioural advertising profiles, and we do not sell data obtained through cookies.
Managing Cookies
You can delete or block cookies through your browser settings. Deleting our session cookie may affect your ability to use our services and may trigger additional security verification. To change your analytics choice, delete the fp_consent cookie and the banner will be shown again, or email us and we will record your preference. Browser settings such as "Do Not Track" are not currently honoured automatically.
Most browsers allow you to:

- Block first-party or third-party cookies
- Block cookies from specific sites
